This is the best time of the year for the garden. August in NY is a big production month. These are 3 baskets from the last 2 days. Tomatoes, jalapeños, cilantro, basil. I knocked off a few green ones in the process that will end up in a random frig-salsa.

I have been letting the tomatoes turn red on the counter and then I have been freezing them in preparation of a big canning day.

The jalapenos will end up getting candied today with a vinegar sugar brine.
