!@#$%^& Spectrum. I had a problem with a cable box that wouldn't show certain channels (that I should have). Spent time in chat trying to get it to work. Didn't work. Next option given was get a new box. So I did that today . . . and got a @#$%^& box that doesn't work at all. Spent over 30 minutes in chat trying to activate it. Now they're sending out a tech. Last time a tech came out they said "he's almost there", when he was an hour away! Stupid Stupid company. #CableRant #SpectrumSucks

The "greatest generation" came home from war glad to be alive & needing to honor the fallen by living a good life. The Boomers learned by example & by growing up with things like scouting. They learned that helping others was valuable. Somehow each succeeding generation have diminished those values more & more & become progressively more selfish. Not all but way too many.The question we must solve is how to get back to the values, the selflessness of the past

well that was exciting ... settled in to bed to watch Netflix when all of a sudden there's a flying insect hatch coming from somewhere behind the head of the bed! Dozens of them flying around the head of the bed attracted to the only lights in on in the room, over the head of the bed. ACK! Ahh the joys of visiting the tropics. Looked like a flying ant swarm to me. They're now (hopefully) enjoying the emergency light that's been plugged into the other room #TravelAdventures #Ants #Bugs #UGH

two new (to me) food experiments tonight.
1. (chopped) Baby Kale & (shredded) Brussel Sprout "Caesar" Salad - successful and yummy. Topped with chopped bacon
2. Frittata "muffins" with cheese and spinach. Yummy and moderately successful. Made in an old muffin tin. Next time I'll get a decent silicone muffin pan. Also the plan is to freeze these for future meals/snacks. Recipe needs a bit of tweaking still.

Looks like I'm going to be doing this in June and am interested in how you/they planned for it and how you/they managed with being in a sling for six weeks. I'm thinking of a bunch of things to prep but you may have ideas I haven't thought of. #ShoulderSurgery #SurgeryPrep #SurgeryRecovery #JointReplacement
