Talked to my insurance and got some bad news. While most of my surgery is covered, thank goodness, some of the supplemental services I need will not be.
This looks like it's going to cost between $2000-3000 between now and my next surgery.
(Yes, I have to go through all of this again in 3 months)
Obviously, this changes how much money I'll need, so I've prioritized finishing the GoFundMe and will launch it in the next day or two.
I just need to talk to another insurance manager to verify everything and run the numbers to be sure.
Right now, I still need help getting medical supplies (Gloves, Wipes, antibacterial soap, etc)

Right now I'm in recovery. I'm weak and tired all the time. I will slowly improve until I have a surgery in 3 months to reverse the ostomy.
Then we get to go through this whole process again.
I have thought of making a kickstarter (and I still might) but I need help with supplies right now and the fastest way I have is PayPal.

I am using Bepanthen Scar for my top surgery scars and it surprised me. Just one use and my scars got so much softer that it is hard for me not to keep touching them. It is like a nice claming stim...
It feels so beautiful to be able to touch my chest like this. <3
If you have had top surgery a nonth ago or longer, I really recommend these scar gels. They make a huge difference in the healing process. :D

Happy to report that I am no longer technically unemployed and start a new position as an Android software engineer next week! Looking forward to diving into some new code and what not! Let's goooo!
Also, my elbow is doing okay given it is now 3 weeks post op. Still stiff, but I am trying to stretch it a few times a day. Still some pain but manageable.
