  1. The baby bunnies appear to have hopped the nest in the veg patch so that’s good news for my veg, though I will miss seeing them.

Anyone with #hedgehog expertise know how to deter mice and voles from feeding stations? I seem to be supporting the entire population and they’re leaving no kibble for the hogs.

  2. I seem to be feeding more mice and voles than hedgehogs atm but there’s enough to share. They’re pretty cute too.

  13. Just finished my big garden birdwatch for the rspb. Most of the usual suspects made an appearance but no long-tailed tits or goldfinches. The pair of greater spotted woodpeckers though. Red kites overhead but I don’t think that counts as they didn’t land in the garden.

  15. I’ve just experienced my first rotten egg while baking 🤢. Of course this was the one time I didn’t break the egg into a separate bowl before adding to rest of the ingredients 🙄. I’ve cleaned up, almost finished retching at the mere thought of it and prepare to start again. I am scared to crack the next egg.

  21. It prompted me to fish some leaves out of the pond. I always put stuff on the side to allow critters to crawl back in…like this little guy.
