Looks like Arnold Reinhold's home directory ~reinhold/ no longer exists on The World, even though the ISP is still online.
This means the #Diceware page is no longer accessible.
Anyone know what's going on?

I don't know why I haven't searched for this before, as I'm a huge #hp48 nerd, but here is x48ng, an #opensource HP48GX emulator project.

The #LastPass password generator uses a userspace #RC4 generator.
Here's their #JavaScript:
dogenerate() -> lpCreatePass() -> get_random() -> rng_get_bytes() -> rng_get_byte() -> prng_newstate() -> ARC4init(); ARC4next()
As RC4 is insecure, you would be wise not to use their web-based password generator.
Further, it seems likely they're using the same code in their password manager. You would be wise not to use it there also.

#PassGAN isn't really doing anything new we haven't already been doing with Markov chains when it comes to password cracking. Don't buy into the hype.

If you were to implement a JavaScript cryptography library, which would you choose, and why?

Disclaimer: I work for #XMission, one of the ISPs on UTOPIA. So my opinion may be biased.
However, when I learned of UTOPIA in 2005, I wanted to move to a city that had coverage.
Before purchasing the home I'm living in now, and before I worked for XMission, I told my wife we needed to find a home that had UTOPIA access.
> "It's silly to buy a home based on the Internet."
The first month after buying our home, we had to tether off my phone, because CenturyLink couldn't schedule us in. 😃

If you're going to spend that sort sort of money on a network infrastructure, you might as well built it yourself and do it right.

Due to grad school, marathon training, and other things, it's been a long time since I've sat down and solved these cryptographic puzzles. Thinking I might solve these and share some of my favorites. I guess I'll start with the November-December 2022 cover.
