So much for the quote, “you can’t escape death and taxes.”
Appears the tax part doesn’t apply to certain people 🤬
“Sue the government he runs, then settle the lawsuit with himself by barring the IRS from auditing his past returns. And as part of that deal, hand over $1.8 billion of taxpayer money to his allies.
#Trump has used the federal government to advance his own personal interests and those of his family and allies more expansively and openly than any past occupant of the White House. Any review of history would suggest that it is not even close.”

Too Much Ambiguity (and stupidity)
“President #Trump keeps finding reasons not to reopen the bombing campaign. The Iranians are using the time to rebuild their anti-aircraft defenses and replenish their drone and missile stockpiles.
We should not have any doubts about the #dictatorship using the truce periods to repair damage and rebuild their forces. There is also no question that the Russians are shipping weapons and supplies across the Caspian Sea to help the Iranians rebuild their capacity for war.”

The best option is for #Trump to admit he screwed up and bring our troops home. His die-hard supporters will forgive him.
The only other option is to put boots (lots of them) on the ground (will need more than Afghanistan or Iraq) and risk regional (?World) escalation 😰
Untenable options:
1. Wait for #Iran to break because of the long-forecast filling up of their oil storage capacity, bringing them both to their knees
2. Continue to try to negotiate a deal with #Tehran.
3. Try to get traffic moving through the #Strait via the #Pentagon.
4. Reignite the kinetic war to force another round of regime alternation and gain leverage.

A history of the voting rights act and it’s decimation by our Supreme Court 🤬
“Seventy-two years ago tomorrow, on May 17, 1954, the #SupremeCourt unanimously decided Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas. That landmark decision declared racial segregation in public schools unconstitutional because segregated schools denied Black children “the equal protection of the laws guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment.”
