Trump's appeal against the sanctions order and ruling that the there was collusion between Trump and #ToddBlanche's #DOJ and the #TreasuryDepartment was filed about 4 hours again for Trump v. IRS, but with a weird caption, as I suspected, because the DOJ never showed up.

Crap. Now #Trump is saying he’ll just wait until #JohnCornyn & #ThomTillis leave the #Senate, & then he’ll re-nominate #ToddBlanche.
Trump suggested Thursday that he could withdraw Blanche’s nomination to become attorney general until next year, as a standoff continues with the 2 Republican senators who are demanding concessions from the admin before supporting Blanche.

This is the lawsuit against the #Jan6 #SlushFund which #ToddBlanche was given a chance to nope out of just by saying (in a sworn statement) that the idea was dead and gone, and he got all huffy.

Yesterday, Judge #Brinkema in #Floyd v. #DOJ explained why #ToddBlanche is completely wrong that his unsworn assurances are sufficient to render the lawsuit against the #SlushFund moot and so it must proceed, perhaps with depositions of the very people for whom Blanche's flailing about the separation of powers was meant to shield.
