  1. How to #navigate #code in #Emacs?
I was used to click a function/method/variable/whatever and move to its definition, or highlight its occurrences.
I'm now messing up with a Python script.
Let alone I don't know Python, how to use Emacs in an effective way?
Can I navigate the code somehow, as in those simpler 😉 #IDE out there?

  2. Why is complaining if I'm using ?
Shouldn't it work with that thing on as well?

Well, having a -programmable nice , I've configured it with one-click Select All, Copy and Paste, (blue keys) but I also have shortcuts for Cut, Undo, Mute, Mic Off, Print Screen, ...
They're pretty useful, once you get used to them.

  13. Hi fellow and (or aficionados out there!

I'm working on my Kanban Journal approach, a sort of evolution/improvement of the way more famous Projects part of the Method (see alastairjohnston.com/projects-).

Still evolving and in progress, but I would like to ask you all to take a look at it, try it if you want, and let me know all your feedbacks, to improve it further: marcoxbresciani.codeberg.page/
And a question: are hand drawings nice, or are HTML tables better?

  14. My tiny strategy (soon in more details on my digital garden: marcoxbresciani.codeberg.page/).

    1. Main Documents folder on PC SSD, with almost 280GB (around 100k files) to somehow keep.
Of these, few less than 110GB are those mandatory to be kept (photos, emails, docs, books, ...).

    2. First full backup level on an external USB disk encrypted with .
Files are synced from (1) with each 42 😇 modifications.
Disk always connected to PC, not automatically mounted.

  15. 3. Second level on 250GB cloud storage through , also locally encrypted before sending.
This does not contain all files but "only" few less than 200GB of them, the most interesting.
Copy happens through a batch file, taking files directly from source (1), not from (2).
To be possibly updated by mounting the encrypted remote and using, again, RoboCopy.

If you want to experiment something else European, there's also , with WebDAV and their zero-knowledge Koofr Vault (that is also open source and on F-Droid).

Also here, you can use Cryptomator or @cyberduck to upload encrypted files.

I found a lifetime offer for this on StackSocial, years ago when I bought it.
