Hehe. Dear lord.
Now I'm torn between watching either Five, On the Beach, or fuckin' Threads 🤣

Long day was long. Surgery, as hoped and expected, was successful.
The added bonus was my daugther & her husband drove us down to the clinic in Bellevue and we got some quality time to catch up with the kidlet and their adventures.
Got to peep some awesome new ink & watercolor work she's been cookin' up. I'm really impressed by the new thematic direction she's taking. She's developing a new style and finally starting to talk about the possibility of looking to publicly show her work(fingers crossed).
On the post-surgery return, we checked out a new(to us) Lebanese(?) place a few blocks from us that was awesome. Found my new favorite appetizer. I'm calling it Greek poutine(aka gyro fries).
Also got recruited again to babysit the gecko & snake while the kids are out of town next month. Aside from the laser to the eyeball, a great day was had by all!🎉

Yay! More #BreadAndCircuses
I don't normally watch live streaming events, so listening to national broadcasters and seeing commercials is _really_ disorienting and alien to me. I will suffer through it for the spectacle 🎉

Being a masochistic #SeattleMariners baseball fan finally pays off tonight after 24 years. That was an exhausting vicarious five hours.
On to the Championship Series!🎉

For tonight's #SeattleMariners playoff game, the Puget Sound Seismic Network has "installed the Richter Rizz seismic station at T-Mobile" to "track the energy in the ballpark":
The site just went live now(16:30PST):

Was lucky enough to spend a good portion of the day out on the lanai, feeding crackers to the few remaining crows who hadn't migrated away to more promising locales. They would perch on the adjacent tree branches and speak to me. I'd click my tongue back in answer to them.
I, obediently, would then show them the cracker and fling it out onto the asphalt below for them to chase, peck, and horde.
I repeated this with the same four crows for most of the afternoon.
It was a good day.
I need to get more crackers. -
Throughout the year, I've normally followed #Mariners #Baseball season via live boxscore updates.
Tonight, I'm watching a live broadcast stream of the playoff game and it's just fucking embarrasing. The advertisements. The milquetoast national announcers.
I appreciate my bread & circuses as a distraction; but, this shit is such garbage.

Ack. The little vulnerability scanner(pip-audit) that I use in my nox automated testing reports vulnerabilities against its own dependencies. Which...I guess is good/thorough??
However, it spits out a screenful of text in the report potentially obscuring the reports on any of the packages in the primary project its testing against.
So...I 'have' to create exclusion(s) to hide the reports against it's own dependent packages to see if my actual project has vulnerabilities. *sigh* 🤣

Gonna give myself a bit of a break today and spend some of the afternoon making a big pot of vegetable soup from scratch. Seems like a proper lifestyle choice.

Beginning to really appreciate the #rumdl project in helping me lint my Markdown and get some consistency in the formatting of the gazillion notes I've created for myself.
Like #ruff and sphinx-lint, it's becoming a common part of my toolbox to keep my sloppiness in check and, perhaps, teach me some better formatting habits.

Great informative article. Thanks for assembling the collection of tracks. I'm, personally, more inclined towards the post-punk and really enjoyed the Malarie track. Will definitely be checking them out.
Thanks!
