There's many things I like about Microsoft Office 365. Probably my favorite feature is the six 1 TB OneDrive allocations - last time I compared, none of the personal cloud storage options come close in price.
One thing I really dislike is the omission of Spreadsheet Compare. This extremely helpful tool allows you to compare two Excel files to see the differences.

I think I’m seeing a deliberate pattern to upsell — every item page offers a couple suggestions of similar items that are about 25 to 50% more expensive. If the suggestions were based solely on customer shopping patterns, I’d expect occasionally to see a same-priced or less-expensive item, which is the case with most other online retailers.

Up until now, I've stayed out of the Meta Threads discussion. I'll just say that in the last few months, I've discovered at least 3 folks that I had previously followed on Twitter, and now I'm very happy I can now follow them here on Mastodon. Being able to read their posts here greatly increases my satisfaction on Mastodon.
FWIW, I get the concern about a possible Embrace, Extend, Extinguish play by Meta.

Job recruiters and hiring managers are quick to say that resumes (and cover letters, if included) should be tailored to the job description.
I agree. However!
How often do you post job descriptions that are tailored to the job? Do you always trim out irrelevant boilerplate from the job title template? Are you always adding details that differentiate this job from other jobs with the same title within the company?

A few more thoughts:
A game's success or failure is mostly out of the hands of any individual. You could do fantastic work on great game that never gets the attention it deserves. You could be stuck on mismanaged project that is never completed.
You could work for a game studio that has history of firing 90% of staff right after the game ships & receive no tips because policy only distributes tips to current employees.

There's an idea floating around to enable tipping videogame developers. For self-published games, this is a fine idea. For major studios, tipping game devs would allow them to shift some of the burden of providing a fair wage to the players. If you think the tips would 100% be on top of whatever they are paid now, you are being fooled.

I was #bullied a lot as a kid, and for the most part, the adults in my life knew about it and did nothing.
From my lived experience, those who were bullied go one of two paths. Either they become #bullies themselves, or they refuse to let it happen to anyone else if they can stop it.

Oh I get it! All these tariffs are POTUS47's sneaky way to combat global warming. By increasing prices on basically everything and crashing the US economy, he's going to decrease US consumption, leading to an overall reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. Very sneaky pulling off this green initiative, POTUS47, all the while gaining office from voters that don't even believe in global warming.
