We're doing a lot better since we abandoned Windows/N1MM... Turns out some Windows sound-card driver issue was causing us to miss out on A LOT of signals...
Sound card issues look resolved after switching to Fedora Linux (@fedora).

It's field day weekend, so plenty going on on the 40m amateur radio band!

I visited the N0SFF station during ARRL’s field day today. It was fun to catch up with friends and observe the hobby in action.

Will visit a #FieldDay2024 site later, but for this morning I’m moving our stepping stones and potting bench and stuff around that is by the chicken coop, because the spouse ordered 4 ducklings, and I need to install a little pond for them, since our current little pond is outside the space they’ll have access to. (And I prob wouldn’t want them in that one anyway - ducks can make a mess of a small pond pretty fast😀)

It's a little last minute, but I decided to do a Ham Radio Field Day based give-away! The biggest and best Pride Display at an ARRL Field Day site wins any 3 clothing items from my subversive radio shop! Post pics here and mention me, or email them to me. Please share far and wide (on other social networks too, if you have a presence on them!)

Put out petitions for people to sign to ask the FCC to make it easier to protect our identities
Post your club’s code of conduct and/or inclusivity statements at your public info booth
