  1. I'm very happy to have made my first sale of the month so quickly! The rainbow snake and the black and white penguin are no longer available, but you can still buy their siblings at the same price:

  2. All prices in my @coopartisans shop have been lowered to 20€ (22.11$)! The website conveniently tells you, when you click on each item, how much that saves per purchase. Please share and buy something if you like the look of any of it!

  3. I'm thinking about doing a September-through-end-of-the-year €20 sale on the Artisans Cooperative storefront. (US and Canada only right now.) Every item €20 + shipping, no exceptions.

This is an UNREASONABLY LOW PRICE for all but two listings, but I've got my reasoning. Hear me out.

I've been pretty ambitious with the things I've made for the shop. They are necessarily pretty expensive, because they take so much labor. The result is most of what I've precreated hasn't been bought, and I feel discouraged to amass more inventory for fear of physically running out of space where I live right now.

In addition to that, my membership with the Artisans Coop isn't fully paid off yet, and I have a couple months left to do so. Each sale boosts points toward my membership, so it's in my best interest to sell a number of items via the AC as soon as possible.

If I can get everything sold by the end of the year, even if I'm making pennies per hour as a result, I could have verified sales, a paid off AC membership, and more space to expand my inventory.

If you're interested in taking advantage of this sale, please let me know and I'll reach out to you when it starts! Here are my listings for reference:

  4. I've finally finished testing and listing the ball python plushies on the new shop!

These were the first plushies I wanted to sell and I'm sosososo hopeful and excited with this storefront. Check it ouuut and maybe buy one if you can afford it? Price breakdown in the description; I'm getting 10€ per hour.

  5. A rainy Sunday. Perfect weather for crocheting, especially when one has rendered oneself almost immobile by breaking a toe stubbing it on one's footstool. #crochet #WalkingWounded

  6. Here's #crochet sea creature number one... a #narwhal... and I'm quite pleased with how it has turned out... the pattern in the book was well written... and using a 2.5mm hook... with my usual cheap acrylic yarn... it has come out about the right size...

  7. It is done! In this dry heat the scarf dried faster than I thought and now it's available in my shop.

Remember that I'm going to raise my prices due to the new paypal fee in August.

  8. Dear croche-friend, behold!

As for the previous work, it's not much but it's honest work.

A few days ago I finished crocheting this tawashi (natural sponge) / pot holder, experimenting with patterns (in this case the BL)

I'm satisfied but I see I have a lot of work to do to improve myself. No rush though, it's all about the journey and not the destination per se.

  9. It ain't much, but it's honest work. And it's my first complete project!

Finished this smartphone sleeve / glasses holder for my wife, that made practice a lot with single stitches, chains, changing colours and joining two crochet pieces together

Not great, but definitely a start. I loved the process of making it, so I will stick to crocheting <3

(Suggestions and fixes if you spot something wrong are welcome, I'm still in the learning phase 😁)

  13. I've made a cushion cover using the leftover yarn from the massive scarf I finished last week.

I've had the cushion insert for a while but not had a yarn I wanted to use for it until I had this chunky yarn.

The cushion will be going in the car as I sometimes find that I need a cushion when out and about as my joints act up if I'm sat on a hard chair/surface for too long.

  14. #Conchobar lured #Deirdre and Noísiu back to #Ireland by vowing that he had lost interest in his bride. Noísiu, homesick, agreed to return. Despite premonitions of doom, Deirdre reluctantly agreed. Under an ominous blood-red cloud she sailed for Ireland with the three sons of Uisneach.
„Immediately upon landing, Noísiu and his brothers were set upon by Conchobar’s warriors, who killed them.“
