OK I've got #Fedora 41 running on the cheap-o #N100 mini PC. It's been quite a long time since I last ran #Linux as a desktop OS. So far, so good. Fedora has come a long way.

This is my first time using #flatpak and it's pretty cool!

I'm going to have to more methodically figure out what I need a #Mac for and see how to translate it to Linux.

I've got an #N100 micro PC now to put #Fedora 41 on and see if I could be happy with less #Apple in my life. It's a cheap way to try the modern #Linux on a desktop experience without investing much.

#triumph have just announced the #Rocket3Storm motorcycles. I’m still looking into what this means, beyond a name. I think Triumph are still missing the potential of these #motorcycles by not offering a sport touring variant with the feet up and back a little more. The other day I traded my 2023 #RoyalEnfield #Interceptor650 toward a 2016 BMW #R1200RT #motorcycle. The point was to have something more fun to ride longer distances with and she doesn’t disappoint.

Her full name is “Cristal, Like the Champagne”. #TheBoondocks reference.

#VR180 cameras still exist today but not so much at the action camera & consumer price level.

I’m kind of expecting VR180 cameras to make a splash at #CES2024 in the wake of #Apple shipping the #VisionPro.

These things existed before, but I don’t think they sold well because few people could (or would) consume #VR180 content. And the action camera industry didn’t have the patience to actually develop the market.

But I’m telling you, this is an entirely better way to immerse viewers in your #content than 2D screens. Forget movie theater 3D. This is different! Way better!

I’ve got Apple #CarPlay working on my #RoyalEnfield #Interceptor650 #motorcycle. These head units are sold under many names and can be found with a quick search of “motorcycle CarPlay”.

I got off a plane from one side of the continent to the other last night. I was home but the weather was 💩 so no #motorcycle ride was happening. Instead I swapped out the factory headlight on my #RoyalEnfield #Interceptor650 for a “Z-Offroad” LED headlight. I haven’t had it out yet but I like how it looks and the light seems clean, bright, and very white.

Today was a really good day to adjust back to a good life with a good #motorcycle in it. The #RoyalEnfield #Interceptor650 #Int650 is really winning my heart.
