Hi Blake!
In my case, I get an error and never see anything.
I don't want to get into a debugging session, but here are my observations:
- I'm using Vivaldi
- I have cookies and site data turned off for all sites but a few
- in particular, cookies and site data are blocked for 1password.com
- when I follow the link in the toot, all I see is this error text: "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred while loading 1password.com (see the browser console for more information)."I didn't investigate further.

I already have some ideas how to fix the ones I found, but will need to test them and see if they can also be backported or if they should only be applied to the 2026.05 release.

To sell - To give something in exchange for something else, usually money
- French: vendre
- Spanish: vender
- German: verkaufen
- Dutch: verkopen
- Danish: at sælge
- Norwegian: å selge
In German and Dutch, the prefix ver- has a negative connotation.
The old English and Norse origins of "to sell" relate it to give /up, deliver, surrender, hand over, and even to sacrifice.
Sounds like selling something was not a thing you did willingly.

But the Old English word - because of course they had violence before the Norman conquest - is hǣste, which is related to vehemence, fury, and hate.

The French refer to "money" in general as silver, but "monnaie" is used for coins, or change, and a porte-monnaie is a purse holding paper cash and coins.
Penge is from Old Norse pen(in)gar or penning. In Dutch, the treasurer of an org is called a "penningmeester", or the manager of the money.

The German "Tempo" is used in music as well as in car traffic.
You feel that speed is important to the Dutch, they had their own words early on, and multiply so. They also have "haast", or hastyness.

A quick announcement regarding the recent developments with Steam's new guidelines, Collective Shout, and their attempts to silence the critics of their censorship campaign:
We're staying on top of things, but instead of constantly sharing snippets of information, me and Gloria are going to record a long podcast episode once we have a better understanding of what's going on.

The owner walked up right as I was tooting just now. We talked for a few minutes and she told me stories about being in the LF bleachers in the 70's and 80's.
I got to tell her how a kid that grew up deep in Cardinals country grew up as a Cubs fan.
