Hi Blake!
In my case, I get an error and never see anything.
I don't want to get into a debugging session, but here are my observations:
- I'm using Vivaldi
- I have cookies and site data turned off for all sites but a few
- in particular, cookies and site data are blocked for 1password.com
- when I follow the link in the toot, all I see is this error text: "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred while loading 1password.com (see the browser console for more information)."I didn't investigate further.

A quick announcement regarding the recent developments with Steam's new guidelines, Collective Shout, and their attempts to silence the critics of their censorship campaign:
We're staying on top of things, but instead of constantly sharing snippets of information, me and Gloria are going to record a long podcast episode once we have a better understanding of what's going on.

The owner walked up right as I was tooting just now. We talked for a few minutes and she told me stories about being in the LF bleachers in the 70's and 80's.
I got to tell her how a kid that grew up deep in Cardinals country grew up as a Cubs fan.

Today's #RandomEnglishWord in honour of my relationship with poison ivy
#eradicate - destroy completely, literally "take out the root"
- French: éradiquer
- Spanish: erradicar
- German: auslöschen
- Dutch: uitroeien
- Danish: udrydde
- Norwegian: utrydde
Each word contains that language's word for "out".
"Löschen" means to delete or clear
"Rydde" means to clear or tidy.
The Dutch "roeien" is not to do with rowing but with "rooien" or harvesting root vegetables and, you know, tulip bulbs -
#sheep - the domestic mammal kept for wool and meat;
#mutton - the dish prepared from it- French: mouton, mouton
- Spanish: oveja, cordero
- German: Schaf, Hammelfleisch
- Dutch: schaap, schapenvlees
- Danish: får, fårekød
- Norwegian: sau, fårekjøtt
Again: while in the meadow, "sheep" is related to Germanic word, but once on the table, "mutton" is related to the French word, which is in turn related to the proto-Celtic "moltos" that blew over to Bretagne.

The winter #amateurradio #hamradio projects have begun. Never had any success with #randomlengthwireantenna and 9:1 unun. Going to try again. So far things looking up. Now for the correct wire length for 80 - 10 meters with counterpoise. 🤞

Couriers of The Last:
Sect members from Verdens Ende (Worlds End), convinced they are the last living people on earth. Led by a Speaker, charged with communing with "phantoms" stubbornly roaming the world, to convince you you're dead. The rest of the crew wear blindfolds and ear muffs, lest they be led astray. All are adept at blindfighting with their oars.They are seeking one of their own, a youth eloped with a "ghost".

I knew about #rainloop, but hadn't looked in a while. I will say that it seems better than current #RoundCube, especially on desktop.
The mobile interface definitely has some #UX clunkiness. Mainly because of details that don't adjust from the desktop view. Tiny hit boxes. Unnecessary edge borders, distracting from content. A lot of the message area is unnecessarily cramped, because of wasted vertical space. It's decent. Many opportunities for improvement though

I wore my custom designed t-shirt today.
In the underground someone asked me: "unfa! Is that you?". "Yeah, that's me!".
Turns out it's someone I knew from the Xonotic forums way back. He started making game levels then, now he's selling his game assets. Exactly what I want to be doing! I invited him over and we spend the next few hours with Blender.
