My living room is a like a museum of family heirloom-type stuff; I’m in the La Z Boy under an afghan my gramma Mason crocheted when I was like … six. Then there’s the Tonka Roller I got for Christmas 1972 and the “deacons bench” my folks bought for $300 in 1961 (and made payments on) and the Lincoln rocking chair my gramma Jopek had. Just a few items that mean absolutely nothing to anyone but me when it’s all said and done.
