That time The Kinks incorporated at least two of their most well known tunes into one jam. On a side note, the Kinks concert I saw in Minneapolis during ‘83 was another ass kicker.

One of the more underrated 80s movies was William Friedkin’s “To Live And Die In L.A.” which Wang Chung composed the music for. Yeah, it’s not “Everybody Have Fun Tonight” WC had a huge hit with a couple years later but this is one of my favorites from them. Like anyone cares!

And the ass kickin DP concert I saw at Denver’s McNichols arena about this time (checks notes) 41 years ago. Holy shit, I’m an old man. Oh, well. I got to see the great Ritchie Blackmore. It was a great show.
