Since I have to narrow it down to dramas released in 2023, I pick Kim Ji-Eun's performance in #LongingForYou
She plays the badass female prosecutor who can think rationally in any situation. I love her facial expressions.

One of the best crime/investigation #kdrama I've watched.
It's a steady paced crescendo in mystery solving and what a finale! The choice of sticking to 14 episodes removes any useless gap fillers in the fascinating plot.
This #drama fully deserved the #KDA awards it received. #KimJiEun ( #김지은 ) as FL was sensational, I hope to see more of her talent in future productions.

If I have to be extra picky, without demeaning in any way the show, there are a couple of things that don't quite culturally fit with my opinions.
Firstly: death penalty. No matter the crime, I do not support death penalty as a rightful punishment in a democratic society. This differentiate me from most Koreans, as far as I understand.
Secondly the sudden marriage proposals. Why don't they date first? Why is money more important than feelings?
