  1. Early winter project recently completed: install a heat pump AC/heater so I'm less reliant on my wood stove.

    Since yurts don't have solid walls, I had to build a wall mount for the indoor unit from 2x6 boards and a piece of plywood.

    Unfortunately, the paltry amount of solar power available to me in January means I can only use the unit after several days of sunshine. I'll get more use out of it in February and March.
