@samuelsantaella @itsfoss I agree - that is the only real reason. #YotLD is not about anything technical, nor about market share! The true practical definition of #YotLD is when people can simply walk in to physical stores. and buy affordable laptops with #LinuxPreinstalled.
Remember, most people don't install Windows or macOS on their computers. In fact, they have no concept of an operating system - it's just a computer. They are only concerned with using the apps!

I rebooted my computer and now it decided to only process keyboard events when the mouse is moving. Otherwise nothing happens, and the key presses are queued until I move the mouse. The terminal also only updates when I move the mouse.
Not sure what is happening, since the whole UI shows this behavior. When running `xev` from SSH, I do see the keypresses immediately, no mouse move required. However, in order for the window to show, I do have to move the mouse first.

at least for me. Today is the 1 year mark of going full time linux on my desktop. @EndeavourOS for 365 days. No signs of stopping either.

I still consider myself much more of a power user than the average computer user, and far less of a power user than the average user capable of giving advice or instructions on how to use Linux.
It seems like there's an inverse correlation where the better you are able to manage a Linux desktop system, the fewer features you are actually interested in using.

We are at the point where Linux is much more attractive alternative to Spydows. M$ is screwing up badly with the worst updating model in the history of OS computing.
Valve (Steam) are pushing Proton / Steam Play.
Devs support Linux more and AMD are improving their Linux drivers.
It is a mere matter of time when Vulkan (the DirectX hunter) is to become an industry standard?
