My #YearlyTheme for 2025 is “Keep pushing.” I could have stayed in bed but I was curious about the day so I went out for a dip with friends. It hailed, snowed, and there was thunder and lightning. What a morning. Also, for funsies, I used my 11 year old Fuji XT1 for these. #ColdWaterDipping

A new year, a new yearly theme.
For me, 2025 will be "The Year of Focus". -
I’m rambled a bit too much, but wrote about some of my hopes for 2025. TL;DR I’m waking up earlier.

Oh dip, it's 2025. My New Year's Resolution is, as always, 800x600. I also set a yearly theme. 2024 was 'The Year of Being OK'. If you'd like to see how that went, and find out what my 2025 theme is, here you go - https://pete.news/hellocomputer/yearly-review-2024/

2024 is my Year of Intention.
I often find myself doing things unintentionally or floating between tasks. With this year’s theme I hope that, whatever I’m doing, I’m choosing to do it. This goes for work things, house things, family things, and fun. I want to spend more time intentionally doing things I care about. -
✍️ New on the blog: a look into the productivity system I've been using for the last six months, the thought process that led me to it, and the ideas it riffs off.
Honestly, this is the single biggest improvement in my day-to-day life I've found in quite some time. I'm not suggesting it's for everyone, but it works well for me😄

As the sun sets on 2023 here in CA, we're looking back on the year that was. Our #YearlyTheme was "2023: Year of Appreciating What We Have". We focused on playing games we already owned (both #VideoGames and #BoardGames). We also tried to be mindful about enjoying our health, home, and each other. We're fortunate in countless ways and it was nice taking time to reflect on that. 1/6

It's that time of year again. I'm thinking about 2023's #yearlytheme.
I'm certainly pushing for something that gets me creating more and building on my existing creative interests.
What's everyone thinking for their theme?
