Coraz bardziej podoba mi się odnawianie i przebudowywanie starych rowerów. Cieszy mnie każdy etap: malowanie ramy, poszukiwanie części, rozwiązywanie problemów technicznych i to jak projekt nabiera kształtu.
Obecnie na tapet trafił znaleziony w starym magazynie Anlen Impulse z 1990 roku. To będzie czarna bestia z biżuterią z polerowanego aluminium, modyfikowaną grupą 2x7 Shimano Exage M500, cantileverami i przednim bagażnikiem. Stay tuned.

I rebuilt my mountain bike I bought 21 years ago, a Trek 4500. It's been a fun project. The new bits include a rigid Surly fork, Surly Sunrise handlebars, a disk brake conversion, 26" disc wheelset, Maxxis DTH 26x2.15 tires, and a bunch of splashes of red. In a month or two it will be sporting fenders and studded tires as my winter weather commuter. It's been nostalgic to rebuild the bike that inspired my passion for cycling so long ago. #bike #xbike #Trek #mountainbike #Surly #commutebybike #cycling
