Volgende week op #WorldStandardsDay vertel ik tijdens de Dag van de Interoperabiliteit van het @forumstandaardisatie over #OpenCloudMesh (OCM).

Dit is een open standaard waarmee bestanden gedeeld kunnen worden tussen onafhankelijke clouds, zonder centrale tussenpartij. Ontstaan in 2015 bij GÉANT, gedragen door CS3.org (CERN, SURF, SWITCH, Nextcloud e.a.).

Federatie, maar dan echt 🥷🏿

Tomorrow is World Standards Day! Here's something I bet you didn't know:

International standards make things work.

They provide instructions, guidelines, rules or definitions that are then used to design, manufacture, install, test and certify, maintain and repair the products and services we use daily.

From charging your phone to safer public transport, there are international standards for almost everything!
