Pets as punishment. Someone found guilty will have an intelligent animal given to them which is trained to prevent the behavior. The type of animal matches the crime and it's lifespan matches the sentence. If the animal dies early then the guilty person dies with them.

Encore des ratés, mais les armoiries sont globalement faites! J'hésite lourdement sur la question de colorer le cadre (et je pense que je vais laisser la carte comme ça).
Some mistakes again, but the arms are more or less done! I'm hesitating a lot about colouring the frame (and I think I'll let the map as it is).

I think I found the good method! Well, that being said, I'm still very much learning about water colours.

Carte grandement finie (manque les routes, principalement) et début de couleur sur les armoiries... difficile et avec des ratés.
Map mostly finished (still missing, the roads, mainly) and first colors on the coat of arms... difficult and with mishaps.

Les photos sont pas top, mais j'ai presque fini la carte (hors routes & possibles couleurs). Il ne manquera plus guère que les armoiries.

Le NO de la carte est presque fini. J'hésite à faire les blasons proprement dits directement en couleurs... Il en manque encore 12.

La partie NE de la carte avance bien. Début de placement/dessin des 27 blasons... c'est petit, mais ça va tenir.

Et donc un peu plus sur la deuxième partie et le cadre. Excuser le cartographe et ses erreurs (ce devrait être Stahlerme...).
So, a little more on this second part & the frame. Please, be gentle with the cartographer & his mistakes (it should be Stahlerme...).

Lashunta Inspirational Memory

Back a long time ago, in the age of PF1E, Distant Worlds, and People from the Stars, the inspiration for Castrovel and the Lashunta was born from the pulp inspiration of Edgar Rice Burroughs, Otis Adelbert Kline, La, Opar, Amtor, and the works of many others. A lot of it was drivel. Yet something beautiful was evoked, which has stayed haunting our dreams. This picture brings me back to those pulpy origins of early antasy.
I'm intrigued by the ritual significance of water for Lashunta, which is am almost ubiquitous element on a planet where it rains almost every day (if not all day). Within the Lashunta's gender-charged worldview, it is a notably masculine element, even if it's seen as mostly passive (which fits their matriarchal paradigm), except when it grows wild in flood.
What role would this woman, if she were a Damaya, be performing here?
