Yuki x Mayu (from Wonderful Precure) gift for the 2024 Fandomtrees fest on Dreamwidth💗 Brush ink with digital halftones.
Mayu would be a wonderful chocolate-brown cat! Inspired by my own gay cats cuddling and licking each other all the time.

Iroha's back to streaming. Her voice isn't back yet, but her doctor recommended that she resume regular activities since not streaming was stressing her out even more.
She was diagnosed with psychogenic aphonia (stress-related loss of voice) right before her 3rd anniversary event.
She's got the animal plushies from #WonderfulPrecure. So cute.

Doodled Niko-sama from Wonderful Precure!
#wonderfulprecure #precure #nikosama #anime #fanart #DigitalArt #lerunart #MastoArt -
Wonderful Precure, as usual in this kind of kids show, explores themes that are definitely beyond what you'd expect from such a show.
In this case, it's the pretty common theme of Ancestral Sin and war over land.
The bad guys are revealed to be Japanese Wolves, hunted to extinction by humans. Humans invaded their land, and they want it back. In the fictional 'Animal Town' where the story is set, humans and animals live peaceful lives.
Are the sins of the ancestors something for children to bear? Whose land is it after many generations, and does it still matter?
And the simplistic response is, 'why can't everyone share and live in peace?'.
Getting to an answer is complicated, and we truly hope that a peaceful solution can be found every time this theme is brought up, especially in the 'real world'.
-
So in Wonderful Precure, Niko-sama finally hatched, and is a sassy-ass princess. The big bad summons his humanoid commanders to fight the Precures. Looks like plot escalation is finally happening.
-
What is a #tsuchinoko?
It's a snake-like yokai (supernatural being from Japanese folklore) that is wider in the middle and narrower in head and tail.
- is fast and can jump very high,
- loves sake (the alcohol),
- makes 'chi' sounds,The Japanese wikipedia entry has better citations and more descriptions than the English one

In this week's #WonderfulPrecure —depressed gorilla.
Are you me, gorilla-kun? It's alright. :neocat_hug_blob_sad:

Err... Good for you Iroha, everyone knows...

Yuki fights against speciesism of naming the team #WonderfulPrecure. It's unfair to other animals that don't bark.
Nyanderful Precure please.
