Did you know that witches.town, one of the first really popular Mastodon instances, used the sound of two black holes merging, registered by the @LIGO, as its notification sound?
And since eldritch.cafe intend to preserve its predecessor’s legacy, we still do the same.

I was looking through some old toots and came across orphaned replies to folks over at #WitchesTown

It's a shame that conversations are now only half ideas. I don't know what happened to all those folks. I'm sure most moved on to other instances, but of those, I know a few have shutdown as well
