The morning rain has relented, and temps are warming up, so I should probably tackle the winter-tire swap.
A bit more challenging now, with a sloping driveway, and I didn't enjoy squeezing the car into a somewhat full garage last fall, so I'll get creative I guess.

Guess being lazy and not taking my winter tires off my bike is paying off this week.
There were ice sheets mid-week and now it's snowing.

@sleepy62 @chris At the time, there were no Ioniq5's to be had! after a couple of months on the waiting list a Kona became available and we grabbed it. It's done quite well driving to rural Quebec in the winter (perhaps due to the heavy battery). Range drops about 10% with winter tires & 10% due to the cold. A headwind makes as much of a difference. Once the large dog is in the back, there's not a lot of room left...

Another sign of spring: changing #wintertires to all-season. Unfortunately one lug nut cross-threaded so I’ll need to go into town to buy a new one.

Yay, eight car tires swapped and I'm mostly un-injured in the process. Did get a finger prick from a metal burr on one of the lug nuts.
Given that it was freezing cold out there, I guess I could complain about the burr on my nuts in both senses of the phrase.

Glad to see some sunshine this morning! I've put off the #winterTires installation for too long and need to make it happen.
Snow in the air more often lately and potential for icy conditions during the balance of the week.

After shedding some blood and getting really tired while doing it by force for the first 15 or so, I figured out the right technique for inserting new studs into my #bike #WinterTires : pinch the tyre from the two sides with one hand, insert stud sideways and rotate to the right position with the other. The replacements are very cheap, worth doing.
Bonus tip: do not compromise on your studded tyres! Damage + injuries cost more than the price difference.
