Should be strong enough. The original car mounting plate you can buy from the winch seller (for €100 🖕) is thinner than that.

Since throwing various things under the wheels didn't work and the electric winch I ironically ordered only a few days ago hasn't arrived yet, I had to resort to plan F for Fuck.
Mjölnired a steel spike into the frozen meadow and hand-winched the tractor out. Promptly got stuck again, so over to plan G for Goddamnit. Sling around an oak on top of the hill, long steel cable + towing line + thick old rope + winch.
Winching it up the hill 3m at a time, occasionally gripping only to slip again after a few meters. Finally at the top I could drive again.
Took hours, then another hour to collect all my gear again and farm jack the steel spike out of the ground so nobody mows it in summer.
Wife has no idea what it takes to keep the living room warm 😜

UPDATE: Temporary solution. JEEP left behind. He's on his way home. Still need winch out solutions.
My boyfriend is stuck in the mud at Iron Mountain Resort in Dahlonega, GA with his son and needs a tow-out. Clearly, not your standard towing service.
