We have refreshments available 10am–5:30pm in our #Church Hall — hot & cold drinks, bacon baps, hot soup, sandwich rolls and #homemade #cakes! Come along for brunch, a light #lunch or afternoon tea! (Cash only at the church, please, for buying trail maps & refreshments.)

Looking for something #fun & #different to do this #Bank #Holiday #Weekend? Come to the #Haxby and #Wigginton #Scarecrow #Festival!
It’s on Saturday 29th April to Monday 1st May, with walking trail maps on sale 10am–4:30pm. They’re only £2.50 each, or all four for £10 (and you only need one map for a trail for your group!). The #scarecrows are on show 10am–7pm.

The #scarecrows are a little worried… Two members of the team are sitting under the table and whimpering. They spent all of yesterday concentrating really hard and drawing up the walking routes. They’ve been there over 12 hours now, but hopefully will recover soon! 😂
Come along and enjoy the trails… The 15th #Haxby and #Wigginton #Scarecrow #Festival will be held over the Early #May Bank Holiday Weekend: 29th April–1st May 2023.

The #Haxby and #Wigginton #Scarecrow #Festival will again be supporting four great charities and good causes with the money raised.
One of the charities is YORK RESCUE BOAT, who are an independent lifeboat and search and rescue team based in York. They carry out combined patrols by boat and on foot at high-risk times every weekend throughout the year.
Get your Thinking Head on and see what wonderful creation you can make and enter!
