"This helium balloon, owned by #Aerostar, is currently circling south of #ChamberlainSouthDakota, above the Missouri River. The FAA shows the balloon is owned by Aerostar of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Aerostar says it conducts 'intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance' for the #USMilitary, and has multiple defense contracts.
"Aerostar's balloons were above the Native American Nations in #SouthDakota and #NorthDakota, and #WhiteriverApache, eastern #NavajoNation, and #JicarillaApache during June."Read more:
