Deeply saddened by the #death of a dear friend's #mother. She was 102 and lived a beautiful life. She raised three beautiful, intelligent, and successful #daughters. She was #kind and #loving and #welcomed me and then my family into the warm embrace of the #family she built. We are diminished by her loss.

I’m so #sad tonight. My dearest friend’s mother, who will be 102 on 12/31, is #dying. She is beyond ready to go as she has no quality of life. However, she is the rock on which everyone depends and orbits. She will leave a huge hole in all our #BrokenHearts when she goes to a well deserved rest. She #welcomed me to her family and embraced me. She is calm & sweet despite having a Dickensian childhood. Her children are #brilliant, #beautiful and #strong. They are #grieving so, so much. As am I. 😭😩
