Have any @jhewitt #wardriver folk tried the advanced config “con_ssid” and “con_psk” parameters to override the saved WiFi config? I can’t get them to work, first time trying. I tried shuffling the order of the lines of cfg.txt but no luck.
Just me?

Gotta say I am liking the disable Bluetooth option on the @jhewitt #wardriver that I modded in
The modified #signalSleuth consistently getting 900+ more WiFi samples in side by side runs with BLE active. More radio time = more WiFi!

Made it a week on vacation before I borked my first #wardriver antenna. Might have got it back together proper, results will tell when we get home in a couple days!

Hey @jhewitt any thoughts on a 1.2.1 release of the #wardriver code?
I took one of my 1.2.0 (5G mod) units into the belly of the Bluetooth beast today and it was not happy. ESP-B reset-o-rama. Sadly this one is really hard to flash without total disassembly, so an official release with the BLE fixes would be great to have.
Anything we can lean in to test in the 1.2.1 prerelease to help?

You look at the @jhewitt code and think “this is the perfect #wardriver rig!”
And then you see the 1.2.1 early commits working to squeeze EVERY efficiency out of the code and it’s like DAMN this is aMAZInG!

Gotta be careful with these 3D printed #wardriver cases. Rubber bands holding the battery pack and natural heat made from some deformities.
One 55mb file shows the rig was running for 7 days STRAIGHT, probably not a typical use case.

Watching people jumping 10 or 30 or 70 positions a month - amazing!

WOW! First run with 5 Atoms on the new code and my Matrix on my older code is taking numbers and kicking ass. Very consistent total counts, and even the 6th upload still reported plenty of new APs on @WiGLEnet
Need to experiment with power sources a bit to look for some variables.

These are some 8dbi antennas I swapped for the 3dbi that came with it. However, I’ve been running with a pair of external mounted 8dbi antennas on the roof of the truck for even better visibility!

🛰️ 6 months after building my wardriving kit based on the amazing design by @jhewitt I finally have some stats to share from #wiglenet. The hardware piece consists of 2 ESP32, a SIM800L, and #GPS, capable of scanning 2.4GHz #WiFi, #Bluetooth, and #GSM info.
