This afternoon & evening I have mostly been mapping CC functions for Cherry Audio's Mercury-4 to my Novation Zero SL ii & SL49 iii. I do like the Space Echo emulator on it, it's a lot of fun.
If anyone's at all interested, I've got the maps and CC Chart for my mapping, I'm happy to share them.

My #Roland #U110 is behaving strange. Has somebody dealt with anything like this before? The image shows strange characters on the display of the unit where the name of the selected tone should be. I tried to reset the unit (holding part and edit while powering on), it did nothing. #vintageSynth #repair #repaircafe #RolandSynth #synthesizer

I now surprise own a Casiotone MT-100. Electronic Musical Instrument.
Ten US dollars today at the sale. A fraction of what it's worth.
Functions work well, it is gunked up tho, the volume pot is nasty dirty and the speaker sucks. Should be a great cleanup job!
And within 10 minutes it's already a blast to play with.

Dug out my old Casiotone VL-1 (VL-TONE) this morning. I bought this new, so it's.. quite old - must be well over 40 years old?
Amazingly it still works. I had forgotten it actually has an ADSR mode where you can "design*" the sound!!
*For a certain definition of "design"

Stoked to have found #KnobKraft-Orm even though I'm really bad at both #Sysex and #Python but this is the sort of #MusicProduction tool I like as I've got a decent amount of hardware lying about! The #Ensoniq #ESQ1 I have in the #studio right now (a loaner from my regular occasional production partner) was apparently once submerged due to flooding ( a fact my buddy didn't discover until after he bought it LMAO) and yet it still works flawlessly (after some pretty thorough cleaning -- but not so thorough there isn't still fine silt on some of the keys).
They really did use to build stuff different.
