A tale of Dutch "healthcare" and insurance:
- Insurance (VGZ): We need multiple photos of your face with a week+ stuble, taken by a licensed dermatologist AT their clinic, but then we'll cover laser hair removal.
- Law: The insurer can request photos AFTER 10 sessions of hair removal before CONTINUING treatment
Insurance (VGZ): okay... uh woah... you actually did that uh... uh... okay we need a paper from... uh... your previous insurance, saying they approved your laser at one point.
Me: They never gave such a document, they followed the law after being ordered to by a judge and fined 15.000 euro for discrimination and delay of treatment.
Insurance (VGZ): yeah but we need that document thoooo
Legal Insurance: Don´t look at us, we'll claim you should have been with us pre-transition (despite you having had a different insurance) so we won´t cover shit.
Why the fuck do I pay for insurance again?

#VGZ stuurt een nieuwsbrief, met een noreply adres en een antwoord-aan adres. Ik vraag ze met een mail op het antwoord-aan adres waarom ze niet te volgen zijn op #Mastodon. Komt een reactie terug dat de mail niet gelezen zal worden...
Waardeloos bedrijf. Waardeloze verzekering ook. Kies een andere als je die mogelijkheid hebt. Helaas wordt ik niet geaccepteerd voor een aanvullende verzekering bij een andere maatschappij, anders was ik er al lang vertrokken.
