another protip: sometimes using milk doens't work on pepper spray. a bottle w water and a little bit of baby shampoo will break down tear gas and get it out of your face and alleviate pain faster

for real tho, if you are protesting #TyreeNichols and the #TyreNicholsVideo SPLIT UP! Cops can manage large protests fairly easily. they cannot not manage multiple smaller actions spread out all happening at the same time

I knew people would bring up the cops being black in the #TyreeNichols shooting, as if that means something.

But for most scholars and activists, I believe it has always been about *institutional* racism.
