I opened Twitter for the first time in a number of days… the longest stretch I’ve had in a long time without even checking it… to see if I had any replies or DMs that needed tending, and the only notifications are about 3 dozen identical replies/likes/RTs from different user accounts about NFTs? Ugh. What a hellhole. Remember how I said I would go back just for advocacy to gov people and such? Well that hasn’t worked out.. can barely stomach the place. 🤮 #twitterHellscape

@photovotary Totally agree! When I joined Twitter in 2014, I got several condescending replies when I tried to figure out hashtagging ... or made grammar and spelling mistakes, or making fun of me because I only had a few followers ... I just feel so less anxious and attacked here. And, I found so many new and interesting tooters (is that the word to use?) to follow. It will take some time to get used to, but it's so much less stressful and more meaningful here.
