Current (broken) Stylus is actually upgraded, Shure RXT6 🤔 (elliptical)

Standard is a T4P cartridge. Probably good enough... These are not brand new records I am playing, lol.

This morning, I woke up to the sound of a lot of commotion and human traffic on my street.

I groggily looked out my bedroom window and saw about 40 cars parked on my street.

Upon closer look, I saw a tent on the front lawn of the houseacross the street, and loads of people walking around with various items.

ESTATE SALE!
And barely had to get dressed.

As far as records and CDs go, it was miles and miles and miles of utter dog shit.

BUT… I found THIS.

A really nice Sony PS-LX3 Direct Drive turntable, in perfect working order.

They wanted only 50 bucks for it, but I talked them down to 30.

Now THATS a hell of a find.
Got it all hooked up, and it sounds great!

So now I’ve got TWO really great sounding direct drive machines in the study.

The maiden voyage goes to Total: From Joy Division To New Order.

I'm embracing it. 3/5 of the plugged in #turntables in my house are now Technics Linear trackers. One of the others is a Technics 1200.

And the kids have a Fisher Price.
