Tonight is the first time my 2 groups of play testers return to the local, central hub to essentially reset themselves. This is when they sell their loot, purchase/restock their inventory, and where I change the players up before setting them out on their next adventure. I've created 3 modules and a game system for FoundryVTT so far for my own ttrpg game and it's been a blast learning the ins and outs. Hope next round, more people can join!

Based on my previous post (https://mstdn.dk/@leeleedee/111714845320025505), I thought I would start a thread of #TTRPGs and other #TabletopGaming books, adventures and resources that ARE available to buy as physical books in the EU (i.e printed and shipped from an EU source)

So if you are a game designer or author who has their books available on, for example, lulu.com, or you have previously purchased a great printed/physical #TTRPG resource and had it shipped to you in the EU, without added import taxes, then post a link to it as a reply here!

Cultural Talents are therefore Talents of a specific Culture, which can belong to mixed ancestries and one ancestry can have multiple different Cultures

Creating a character that belongs to a mixed Culture is not only possible, it should also be encouraged

A table of players can even assemble some Cultural Talents to create a new Culture. It has such a beautiful potential

In short, they are now called Cultural Talents, and I am excited for it

For the #NoxEngine, I wanted to include the fantasy ancestries, such as Elves and Dwarfs, and expand on that to include some original ones, but then I made some changes

Ancestries were supposed to have mechanical impact, but not grant direct 'racial' bonuses. Instead, as an Elf for example, you'd have the option of learning special Ancestral Talents (comparable to feats, if you're stuck in 5e thinking, but not quite) that are only available to Elves

Read new email, drank coffee, getting ready to do "actual work." But I thought briefly about word connotations and wondered if there was consensus to be found in one example.

A and B both make gaming materials, settings, systems, plots, etc. A does so commercially, with artwork, layout, "production values." B does so slapdash, for their own use or for friends, leaving off the polish.

What nouns describe both of them? Which only apply to one? Designer? Developer?
