Well Triangle Agency is a delight. I really only skimmed it, but the character sheet is called Work/Life Balance, character creation process includes questions about experience with Adobe and Google Suite, and the entire book, mechanics included, is in-universe. It explains that Role-Playing Game is a productivity technique field agents can apply to pretend they are sitting at a table instead of being in an actually stressful situation.
I am absolutely in love with it.

They befriended the Party King, persuaded the Impersonating Minor Anomaly, hid a cause of death, tossed their co-worker through an indestructible windshield, and coerced a monstrosity to climb into a briefcase.
All in a day's work at Triangle Agency.

CW: 500th session of Triangle Agency
We are now 500 sessions into Triangle Agency. Dorf's current character, Sirius Kriller, has been receiving visions from Dorf's first character, Pauside Gaito. Sirius has been warned by Pauside about the return of the Anomaly codenamed "Extra-Equestrial", the sentient Merry-go-round that forces people to experience excitement and child-like wonder. It travelled to the future in session 27, and now is the arrival date.
Finally so happy to see this storyline be picked up, especially with Kasey's character, Minny Kilroy, getting the promotion that gives you the Ultima Ripple Gun. It's been a long journey, but we're now here.

Mission 1: Frozen Fame
The team follows the trail of an ice cream van to a party at the Miller siblings' residence. Once there, they race to the pool, Pauside scoring an early 3 Commendations.
Maxwell narrowly avoids a Loose End by making the Switch-turned ice cream disappear before Oliver noticed the corruption.
After much faff, Bell discovers that Brittney Miller is not who she claims to be, but rather an Impersonating Minor Anomaly. It could've ended in tragedy, had not Bell stopped them in their tracks.
And finally, Pauside bonds with Peter "Party King" Luviere, and gaslights the festive royalty to go home and forget what he's seen.

So last Saturday I taught my group Triangle Agency.

My wife organised a surprise gaming weekend for my birthday, where we played #TriangleAgency for the first time. Unexpectedly weird, with a lot more RP in the "downtime" between missions than I was prepared for. I'm looking forward in to just how weird it's going to get.
The scenario was one from The Vault book and the story behind what was going on was surprisingly more involved, profound and, dare I say, even sad than I was prepared for.
Looking forward to more!
