While January seems like a year unto itself, we hope that you’re ready to keep supporting public transit! Our next meetup will be on February 15, and we’re going to try something different. Instead of talking over beers, we’re going to discuss transit advocacy over coffee!
We’ll use this meetup as an opportunity to catch up with each other, prioritize advocacy projects, and maybe even workshop ideas for articles and op-eds to submit to local news organizations.

It’s been a minute since we were had a transit meetup. We’re excited to announce that our next meetup will be on June 8 right after the Eastridge to BART Regional Connector groundbreaking ceremony!
The groundbreaking will be at the Eastridge Transit Center at 10:00 AM. The ceremony will be put on my VTA and not by SCC4Transit. If you would like to attend at the groundbreaking ceremony, please RSVP to VTA on Eventbrite. After the ceremony, we’ll walk over to Jollibee for our meetup at noon.

We had another incredible #TransitMeetup tonight! Thank you to everyone who made it out to DTSJ. We were lucky to have some folks from @vta and #CalHSR stop by too!
We’ll have our next meetup in January, and until then we want to encourage everyone to reach out to their elected officials to let them know that #VTA is doing a great job, we’re excited about the future transit changes and improvements, and that we want to see more support from elected for VTA and transportation projects.
