#Navi #GNSS software update - in the end I stuck with #TomTom Go (the paid one), although I did like #OsmAnd and had the paid version its way slower to pick up your vehicle speed from GNSS than TomTom and lacks real time #trafficinfo - whilst #OrganicMaps and #CoMaps still seem to be arguing about how to implement speed display on #AndroidAuto
#TomTom app behaves pretty much exactly like my old standalone navi, its a familiar, usable #UI and has accurate real time speed display plus 3 warning beeps the moment you go over the limit (which is often main reason I want this software, especially in familiar areas where I can navigate without the GNSS (as I grew up having to do this when younger!)

Integrating real-time traffic information provided by Singapore's Land Transport Authority with Google Maps turned out to be a good thing today. An accident on a major road lead to a huge traffic jam.
Fortunately, Google Maps was aware of the accident and rerouted me so I was only slightly late.
Wonder if other map providers (OpenStreetMap or others?) do such integration also.
