I finally found my way to floating platforms in #Townscaper! I put a little wee housie in the water, for perspective, down on the right.

Hoy se publicó #OutsideTheBlocks, un generador de dioramas digitales metidos en pequeños frascos de cristal. Por lo que he visto, se pueden hacer auténticas obras de arte, pero está claro que mis capacidades son bastante limitadas.
No sabría decir si sigue la senda de #Townscaper y #TinyGlade porque aquí hay mucho más de editor de mapas clásico que de generación procedural acoplando las distintas partes. Pero está claro que es la mierda que a mí me gusta.

Mi buen ratito he pasado para encontrar el punto perfecto donde crear una isla flotante en la demo web de #Townscaper y así poder enseñarles el truco a mis alumnos en las clases de la semana que viene.

Este año estoy usándolo tanto con niños como con personas mayores para que aprendan a manejar el ratón (mover, click, click y arrastrar, rueda del ratón, apuntar...) y los veo muchísimo más motivados que con cualquier práctica "real" que se me pueda ocurrir.

Tienes un inmenso mar ante ti y con un simple click comienzas a crear calles y casas de colores que se van conectando de forma muy curiosa.
Tu único objetivo es construir, como cuando de pequeño juntabas bloques de colores.

#Townscaper lo tengo en Steam, Android y hasta en VR porque... yo qué sé, su autor me cayó muy bien y quería darle las gracias de algún modo. 🤣
Lo tengo bastante abandonado, pero creo que como tendré que esperar aún unos meses por Tiny Glade, voy a animarme a pasar algunas horas de verano con él.

No recordaba haber grabado este vídeo donde mostré una de mis ciudades preferidas (fondo de escritorio de mi segunda pantalla, de hecho).

@jakob42 Nope, ich dachte an Computerspiele. Beispiele wären #Loddlenaut, #Townscaper, #StickyBusiness #CloudGardens #Unpacking #ALittleToTheLeft, vielleicht auch #Dorfromantik. Wenn das Regelwerk schwer ist, ist in meinen Augen schon nicht mehr Cozy.

J'ai acheté Townscaper , comme il était en promo sur Steam.
Et malgré son faible cout, je suis déçue.

Je comprend pas pourquoi c'est appelé "jeu vidéo".

C'est mignon, mais c'est tout.
On peut construire des villes. Mais absolument aucune instructions, aucun but, aucune vie sauf des mouettes de temps en temps sur les toits.

Que 2 options de construction: route hors de l'eau, ou étages de maison.
Pas de plage, de jardin, de boutiques, de campagne, de montagne. RIEN d'autre.

That size allowed me to pack a ton of stuff you find in actual castles: the (massive) keep and the outer wall with its towers, of course, but also a quite big chapel that separates the bigger lower courtyard from the upper one, and a dovecote, and workshops.

I don't often post #Townscaper screenshots here but I quite like this lil floating castle with its lil floating lighthouse.

First, I like hegaxons (they are #bestagons), and it's not that often that you can find one that big in the Townscaper grid.
