A chance cancellation at the vet (probably weather related) got Cricket a morning slot to be seen. She’s been more congested than usual, and the conjoined lumps on her side had gotten bigger since her October visit - about the size of a grape cut in half lengthwise.
Here’s comes some weirdness.
You know how a sick cat will act perfectly fine at the vet?
At some point between me putting her in the carrier at home and taking her out of the carrier in the exam room, the lumps disappeared.
Lumps she has had for months.
Doc couldn’t find them.
I couldn’t find them.
Tonight, I still can’t find them.

Cricket the Brave decided to change things up for this annual vet visit and, instead of barfing on the way there or the way back home, she barfed while we were in the waiting room.
She had a couple new overlapping lumps (overlumping?) checked (“not too concerned/keep an eye on it”), her distemper shot, an antibiotic shot for her chronic URI, and a nail trim.
