A chance cancellation at the vet (probably weather related) got Cricket a morning slot to be seen. She’s been more congested than usual, and the conjoined lumps on her side had gotten bigger since her October visit - about the size of a grape cut in half lengthwise.
Here’s comes some weirdness.
You know how a sick cat will act perfectly fine at the vet?
At some point between me putting her in the carrier at home and taking her out of the carrier in the exam room, the lumps disappeared.
Lumps she has had for months.
Doc couldn’t find them.
I couldn’t find them.
Tonight, I still can’t find them.

Not gonna lie. Cricket had me worried on Friday night. After her antibiotic and steroid shots Thursday morning, she was still struggling with congestion until late morning today when it sounded like the stuff was finally breaking up. Improvement tonight.
