For our #trip to #Brussels, #London, #Glasgow, #Oban, #Tobermory, and #Edinburgh, I've created a #Signal chat room where we're posting #pictures of our trip.

We've sent links to join that room 2 weeks upfront to our family and friends. So whoever is interested, may get our frequent updates with lots of #photographs.

We limited posting permissions to ourselves, others may react with emoticons. Anybody can mute notifications to keep distraction level low. The content will self-destruct in a month so that storage gets cleared again.

I do think that this is a very elegant solution to keep interested people up to date without annoying anybody.

Best part: we don't need to tell all the stories (half of them might be forgotten until then) or show pictures afterwards.
