The spectacular and extremely remote shoreline at Redpoint, south of Gairloch in Wester Ross. It lies at the end of the 8 miles single track B8056, which branches off the main A832 a little south of Gairloch's harbour at Charlestown. This is Rua Reidh #lighthouse near #Gairloch in Wester Ross, #Scotland, where we stayed for a couple of nights back in 2016. One night we had a power outage and we all went out to see the lights from other lighthouses in the Hebrides. It was an experience for sure.

The lighthouse was built by David Alan Stevenson, cousin of the author of Treasure Island, Robert Louis Stevenson.
