OMG so excited! I lifted a rock in my garden and there was a little toad living under it! It was only a few centimetres from the toad house I have out there. No pictures I got too excited and it ran into the bushes.

What an honor to have had a visit from this gentleman last night, and how happy was I when Steven came in to tell me about him!
Mr. Toad was out for a night ramble after a very hot day, and he went on his way when the photo shoot was over. Or, rather, the photo shoot ended when he went on his way.
My knees were recovered from kneeling on the rough concrete by the morning, I'm glad to say.

I was hoping to work on porting my addon to #GODOT yesterday, but I found a large toad lying crushed and bleeding on the road in the heat.
I took her in, and to my suprise she started breathing!
I managed to get her to an animal rehab specialist, and she is resting comfortably in her special soak now.
On Tuesday, she gets x-rays, and the vet will be fixing her arm!I named her jalapeño hopper, and it turns out she is pregnant.
