@adriabailton
Do I ever manipulate time in the stories I write?Absolutely. My first pro sale was a time manipulation story, I've written a time loop-ish story--I love playing with time.
One of the earliest collections I read (from my dad) was Twists in Time by Murray Leinster. It taught me to love time manipulation stories.

I’m feeling a little productive today. It’s a weird feeling. It’s also partially thanks to me cheating a little.
I mentioned yesterday that I had a project that is due today that I hadn’t had time to work on. I got it done. Boom. Well… I have to review it with some other people before it’s officially declared complete, but I’m in a good spot. The cheat? I started work about two hours early today so that I could get it done. Not a cheat, so much, as just being the kind of employee who manipulates time and space to get up to speed. Nothing much.
I am so freakin’ busy today though. Meetings on top of meetings, and we have dinner plans tonight, and I haven’t taken a shower yet because I spent my allotted daily shower time working. Ugh. I’ll get it all done. Just you watch me.
Okay, red head. Time for a meeting, then lunch, then a meeting, then a meeting. As Thursdays go… this sure is one.

CW: In an effort to talk about video games more, here's what I've been playing on the Steam Deck: Braid (2008)
This 2d sidescrolling time manipulating game was released in 2008 and I've been avoiding it because the graphics do not resonate with me at all. The mechanics in the game are inherently interesting to me and some of the puzzles were very clever.
Unfortunately, a number of them were frustrating or annoying to complete and I ended up looking up the answer on YouTube (rather than put down the game indefinitely). Fans of 2d Mario games will recognize most of the enemies and the controls are similar.
Maddeningly, it's not possible to jump off of the ladders, and I had a bad time whenever a ladder was on screen.
