Here, a couple of competitors in the legendary Three Peaks Cyclo-Cross race, on the summit plateau of the first peak, Ingleborough, with the second, Whernside, in the background. I liked the feeling of isolation here, but in fact there were lots of people around.

Ich habe mir gerade die Doku #ThreePeaks & In Between angesehen und wieder einmal festgestellt, was für ein faszinierender Sport unsupported #Ultracycling ist.

Im Prinzip die ursprünglichste Form des Radrennens, da die Teilnehmenden die Strecken ohne Unterstützung irgendwelcher Teams bestreiten und oft auch noch selber planen müssen. Keine Mechaniker, keine Servicefahrzeuge, keine Masseure kein Medienrummel, keine Versorgung oder organisierte Übernachtungen.
