Schade, dass die @tazgetroete im Artikel nur #Meta #threadapp erwähnt, nicht aber #Mastodon - das ist doch quasi bereits eine gute Alternative zu #Twitter, wie ich finde.

I didn’t see anyone report on this, but a 13 slides deck about #meta #threadApp ’s future plans has leaked.
And guess what you can find at the slide 11.... Mastodon compatibility confirmed again.

I think #threads will need the #fediverse in the same way Apple needs Android. We’ll be 0.1% of the #threadapp users but give them the cover of an open platform.

So I'm gonna say this. I've never had to block anyone on Mastodon. #threadapp I'm blocking spam accounts left and right. It's insane. And don't get me started on corporate accounts. Burn down the system and end all corporations.

@santiago How does defederation solve the issue? Meta will grow one way or the other. Users won't quit #threadapp and flock to 🐘 just because they can't follow someone on a 🐘 instance. How does defederation solve any problem?
