If we want a different world, we MUST have a cultural shift in which we agree to a new social contract.
We must agree that:
1.) The truth *matters*.
Peer-reviewed, rigorous scientific endeavor is valuable.
Evidence-based study is valuable.
Both must be wielded with compassion, and with the input of all being affected.
We cannot make decisions rooted in greed, insecurities, and harmful ignorance any longer.

The thing about capitalism is that it narrows the ability for humans to Be Great so, SO incredibly much.
It only allows a very few to shine; and that, at the cost of great suffering and darkness for everyone else.
And it's boring.
It's a 2am view in an area with a high amount of light pollution. ➡️
